Trespassing
Did you realize that's what you're doing?
People often believe that railroad property is public property and that they have a right to be there. Well, that's not the case.
Railroad property is actually private property, and if you cross where there isn't a designated railroad crossing or are walking along the tracks, technically you are trespassing.
What does this mean for you?
If you are caught on railroad property by law enforcement, you could be cited and ticketed for trespassing.
